Due to the recent spike in COVID cases, the Middlesex County Improvement Authority (MCIA) recycling contractor, Solterra is experiencing staffing issues. These issues have impacted the Curbside Recycling Program and occasionally, residents are experiencing collection delays of more than 24 hours. The MCIA is working closely with Solterra and monitoring the impacts of their staffing issues. Solterra continues to utilize their resources and even hired sub-contractors for assistance during the next couple of weeks. If you experience issues with your curbside recycling, please contact the Department of Public Works (609-799-0099) and we will contact the MCIA on your behalf. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The Middlesex County Improvement Authority (MCIA) provides biweekly collection of recyclable material for Plainsboro residents. Collection times are subject to change, but all containers must be ready for pickup by 6 a.m. The MCIA recommends writing your name and address on each container with a permanent marker.
