The American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA) declared the week of June 20 – June 26 as National Mosquito Control Awareness Week to educate the public about the importance of mosquito control and steps residents can take to eliminate mosquito-related issues.  Locally, the Middlesex County Mosquito Extermination Commission is responsible for providing mosquito nuisance relief to Middlesex County residents and visitors, as well as protecting them from mosquito-borne diseases.  Visit http://www.middlesexcountynj.gov/government/departments/psh/pages/mcmosquito.aspx for information about mosquito control measures and to report a mosquito problem.
