- The incident is not a crime in progress
- The incident does not require immediate police involvement
- There are no known suspects
- There are no injured persons

Reporting Online
If the above statements are true, you are able to file your report online. Please make sure to turn off your pop-up blocking software before filing the report. If you are unsure or unable to decide if the incident meets the criteria for online citizen police report filing, please read the FAQs or call the Police Department at 609-799-2333 for assistance.Please Note: Filing a false police report is a crime. Any false information given may result in prosecution under N.J.S. 2C:28-4 (False Statements to Law Enforcement Authorities).
Reviewing Reports
- All online reports will be reviewed Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Any reports filed after business hours or over the weekend will be reviewed on the following business day.
- All incidents requiring immediate police involvement must be reported by calling the police department at 609-799-2333 or by calling 9-1-1 for emergencies.
- Upon review, if further investigation of your case is needed, you may be contacted by email or by telephone.
- See the words: "Your online police report has been submitted" showing that your police report is complete.
- Be given a police report case number.
- Be able to print a copy of the police report to keep for your records.
File Your Report Online
If you have read the above information in its entirety regarding citizen online report filing, and understand that all emergent incidents are to be reported by calling 9-1-1 immediately and all non-emergent incidents requiring immediate police involvement are to be brought to the attention of the police department by calling 609-799-2333 then proceed to the report form.
