Effective December 2020, New Jersey State law eliminated the requirement of wartime service to qualify for the $250 Veteran Property Tax Deduction.  For more information on this deduction, available to veterans and surviving spouses/civil union/domestic partners, and to access an application visit https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/lpt/lpt-veterans.shtml

Please note that applications must be in by October 1, 2021 to receive the credit in 2022.
