[ARCHIVED] Demolition Makes Way for New Adult Retirement Community in Plainsboro

Riverview Demo

Demolition and site clearing have begun for an exciting new project; a new 305 unit adult retirement community called Riverview at Princeton. The project will be situated on about 36 acres, off of Plainsboro Road between Merwick and Firmenich.  This age-restricted development is planned as a four and five story main building containing 260 rental apartments, including 15 studio units, 145 one bedroom units, and 100 two-bedroom; 39 of the one bedroom units will be affordable units, which will be dispersed throughout the building.

This building also includes an indoor parking garage and a full range of indoor and outdoor amenities.  In addition, there will be 45 two-story for-sale townhouse units ranging in size from 1,954 to 2,124 square feet that include two car garage units with driveway parking.  The development contains a large open space area served by walking paths connected to Millstone River Park.   An April 2019 partial opening is targeted, with an anticipated building construction completion date of July 2019.
