[ARCHIVED] Middlesex County Offers Flu and Pneumonia Vaccinations in Plainsboro

On Wednesday, October 11th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, the Middlesex County Office of Health Services will be at the Plainsboro Municipal Building-Community Room A/B to offer flu and pneumococcal immunizations to residents (non-Middlesex County residents are also welcome).


Flu shots will be provided for a fee of $15 (cash only) to residents who are 6 months of age or older.   Medicare will be billed when applicable; please have Medicare card available for confirmation of ID number for billing purposes.


Pneumococcal shots will be provided for a fee of $65 (cash only) to all residents over the age of 65 who have not previously received a pneumonia vaccine.   The fee will apply only if Medicare is not the primary insurance.   Residents with chronic illnesses may be offered the vaccine on a case by case basis after consultation with the nurse in charge.  “Pneumovax 23” is the only formulation offered.
