It’s the most wonderful time of the year- at Plainsboro Recreation! 

Cape May Holiday Lights Trolley Tour (All ages): Monday, December 27, 2021 bus departs Plainsboro @ 2:30pm and will return approximately at 9:30pm (Age 3+ $30/person). Join us during winter break and enjoy a bus ride down to historic Cape May NJ where we will board a trolley and enjoy a front row view of Cape May’s holiday decorations as the trolley winds its way through town. Listen to the guide and learn about exterior holiday decorations, wassailing/caroling, the evolution of Santa, traditions of gift givers and the history of Christmas. After the trolley tour, there will be approximately 2 hours for families to eat dinner, do some shopping or explore the area. Children under 3 do not require a seat on the bus or the trolley but must sit on parents lap for both.

Dancing & Dessert: Saturday, December 11, 2021 7:00-8:30 pm at the Municipal building room A/B. Join us once again for ballroom dancing lesson, along with coffee and decadent dessert. Due to Covid, we ask that only couples register. Please register on-line then pay in person with cash or check at the door.

Wicoff House Light Show and 2nd Annual SnowFest: Sunday, December 12, 2021 3:00-5:00 pm Join us for a light show throughout the museum for this snow-themed family event! We will have: snowcones & smores, snowy outdoor scenes, snow crafts, a museum scavenger hunt, refreshments & museum souvenirs

Family Ski Trip: Sunday, February 13, 2021. Family Ski Trip to Shawnee Mountain by Coach bus for a day of skiing, snowboarding and tubing. The fee covers bus ride only; you are responsible for purchasing your tickets, rentals, etc... Unfortunately Shawnee is not offering group pricing this season. Click on the link in the "Extra Details" to purchase tickets for skiing, etc. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian Bus departs Plainsboro @ 7:30 a.m and will depart Shawnee @ 4:00 p.m.
