The Plainsboro Township Police Department, in collaboration with the Plainsboro Human Relations Council, will facilitate the Police Community Interaction Program on Friday, April 15, 2016. It will be held from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Plainsboro Municipal Center – Court Room. This program is designed to create an open forum that will facilitate free flowing interaction between the residents of our community and the police department. Our goal is to have conversations with the residents, provide educational programs, address community concerns, and share information about police services.
“This program will allow the police department to educate the community on police functions and activities and allow us to personally hear from the residents their questions, concerns, and expectations”, stated Police Chief Guy Armour. “This interaction between the police department and the residents is critical to the safety and success of our community.” “The Human Relations Council is pleased to partner with the Plainsboro Police Department to offer the Community Interaction Program that will serve the community well”, according to Township Committee member Nuran Nabi.
The Police Community Interaction Program is held twice annually in April and October with the exact times, dates, and locations to be publicly announced.
