According to the Middlesex County Health Department, there are 3 confirmed cases of Coronavirus/COVID-19 in Plainsboro.
BE AWARE OF CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 SCAMS
Please be aware that there are several scams out there both online and in person (door to door).
The online scam involves the purchase of medicine/healing remedies for Coronavirus/COVID-19. There are currently no approved medications/healing remedies. At this time, everything is in the trial and testing phase.
People are also going door to door stating they are from the CDC. Please be advised that the CDC DOES NOT go door to door requesting money.

CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 SCREENING INFORMATION
If you are feeling ill and you are concerned that you or a loved one may have contracted Coronavirus/COVID-19, the CDC recommends that you call your doctor for guidance on medical screening. It is important NOT to go directly to the hospital for testing - or you will be turned away. TEMPORARY OPENING OF TOWN HALL
The municipal building will open temporarily to the public for the Township Committee meeting scheduled to be held at 5:30pm Wednesday, March 25th.
BUILDING/FACILITY AND PROGRAM CLOSURES AS OF MARCH 17, 2020
Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak, the Township will be closed to the public for all normal municipal office and building operations effective 4:30pm today, March 17th through Friday, March 27th. Critical operational staff and department directors will be onsite from Wednesday, March 18th through Friday, March 27th.
All recreation programs, meetings and events (which includes the Wicoff House Museum classes and events) remain suspended through Friday, March 27th. All parks and playgrounds (including the Plainsboro Preserve and the dog park) will be closed to the public. Food Pantry distribution will be scheduled by appointment only.
Tax payments can be made on-line through the Tax Collectors webpage.
The Plainsboro Township Public Library will remain closed through Friday, March 27th. Library staff would like to remind everyone that they can borrow e-books and e-audiobooks at eLibraryNJ, download magazines at RB Digital, watch films, documentaries, and Great Course classes at Kanopy and research topics through their databases
All municipal court sessions have been cancelled through Friday, March 27th. Court fines can be paid on-line through the state website.
Applications for a marriage/civil union license will be done by appointment only through the Township Clerk’s Office. Requests for certified copies of vital records (birth/marriage/death) may be done online through the state website at https://www.state.nj.us/health/vital/order-vital/. The Township will re-evaluate closure status on Friday, March 27th to determine if this schedule should be extended, modified or normal operations resumed on March 30th.
