This new summer camp at the museum will introduce campers to the museum world through immersive and fun activities such as conducting an archaeological dig, conserving museum artifacts, creating museum exhibits, conducting research and more. Campers will gain new experiences through creative and hands-on activities and crafts.
These activities are tailored for kids ages 6-10. Topics covered during the week include local history, genealogy/family history, architecture, archaeology, museum collections, conservation and more. Campers will explore the museum building, its collections and the museum grounds during this adventure through history!
Each camper will receive a special camp t-shirt and a log book to record all of their activities at the museum.
