Our fall programs are filling up, but there is still time
to register! Please take a look at some of the
programs that have openings.

  • Music & Movement (Mondays, Sept. 16-Dec. 2)
    (Age 1-7) Introduce your little ones to the love of music! Children will play rhythm instruments, listen to music, sing & dance. Time: 1:15-2:00 pm; Fees: Resident $45, Non-resident $63

  • Intro to Drawing (Mondays, Sept. 16-Nov. 25)
    (Age 5-9) Level 1: (5:00-5:45 pm)
    Class will teach students basic drawing skills while building confidence and creativity. They will learn single point perspective, composition and contrast.
    (Age 5-10) Level 2: (6:00-6:45 pm) Class will reinforce drawing skills and empower students to create their own artistic spins using the foundations that have been acquired from prior classes. Fees: Resident- $40, Non-resident $56
       
  • Pre-Ballet & Creative Movement (Tuesdays, Sept. 17-Nov. 26)
    (Age 3-6) Little ones can experience their first dance class which will focus on basic dance fundamentals and allow students the opportunity to explore their creative abilities. Time: 1:15-2:00 pm; Fees: Resident $45, Non-resident $63

  • Chess Instruction Beginner/Advance Beginner (Saturdays, Sept. 21-Nov. 16)
    (Age 5-14) Learn to play the most popular game invented: the game of strategy and problem solving. Class for those with a minimum knowledge of chess.
    Time: 9:00-10:00 am; Fees: Resident & Non-resident $96

  • Special Olympics Young Athlete (Wednesdays, Sept. 18-Dec. 4) Fees: Free
    (Age 2-7)This program will improve gross motor skills, social and language skills, as well as develop foundational skills for future participation in sports. Time: 4:30-5:15 pm

  • Special Needs Expressive Arts Jr. & Expressive Arts (Wednesdays, Sept. 18-Dec. 4)
    Participants will enjoy movement, theater games, improvisation, sensory art and music.
    Expressive Arts Jr. (Age 8-12) Time: 5:15-6:00 pm; Fees: Resident $40, Non-resident $50 Expressive Arts (Age 13+) Time: 6:00-7:00 pm; Fees: Resident $40, Non-resident  $50

  • Debate Clinic (Thursdays, Sept. 19-Nov. 14)
    (Age 10-15) Class will help students gain and sharpen specific tools and techniques related to persuasive communication & evidence based argumentation including formal competitive debates and informal 1-on-1 debates.
    Time: 5:30-6:45 pm; Fees: Resident & Non-res. $144

  • 3-D Printing: (Ages 7-14) Students will learn engineering and art design for the application of 3D printing and robotics. They will learn how to create and print out 3-D models. Wednesday and Saturday sessions available this fall. 4 classes  Fee: $160

  • Zumba Strong: Class combines high intensity interval training with the science of synced music motivation. Ages 18+,10 classes (9/20-11/22) Fridays: 9:30-10:30 am.
    Fee: Resident $50, Non-resident $70

  • Yoga Strength: Build strength, flexibility, and muscle tone using your own body weight. Emphasis on posture, balance, abs, and back.10 classes (9/18-11/20) Wednesdays 6-7 pm
    Fee: Resident $50, Non-resident $70

  • Pilates Strength & Endurance: A challenging but safe class that will add resistance for strengthening, toning and lengthening your entire body. 10 classes (9/19-11/21) Thursdays 7:71-8:15 pm. Fee: Resident $50, Non-resident $70

  • Bengali Heritage Class (Sundays, Sept. 22-Dec. 1)
    (Age 5+) A great opportunity for children & adults to explore a new culture!  Come learn about Bengali heritage and culture in a fun and interesting way.  Participants will learn how to read and write the language, as well as perform plays, music, and poem recitation in Bengali.
    Time: 3:00-5:00 pm; Fees: Resident $20, Non-resident $30 ($35 book fee for all new students)

  • Plainsboro's Got Talent Auditions to be held on Wed. Sept. 18 & Mon. Sept. 23 (registration is required) Final show held on Sat. Nov. 2         

  • R.A.D. Women (Rape Aggression Defense): is a national self-defense course for women that combines realistic classroom learning with physical defense tactics and risk reduction strategies. (Ages 14+) 4 classes (10/3-10/24) Thursdays: 5:45-9 pm. Fees: $25

  • Dancing and Dessert: Enjoy coffee and dessert and then take a dance lesson. (Ages 18+) Saturdays (9/14, 10/19, and/or 11/2) 7-8:30 pm Fees: Resident $10, Non-Resident $12

  • AARP Smart Driver Course: Awareness of safe driving. (9/23 & 9/24)
    Fee: AARP members $15, Non-members $20

  • Acrylic Landscape Art: Follow step by step instructions to paint a landscape with acrylic paints. Open to beginners. (Ages 14+) (9/25) 4-6 pm Fee: Resident $20, Non-resident $22

  • Pastel Still Life: Draw a beautiful pastel still life by following step by step instructions. (Ages 14+) (11/20) 4-6 pm Fee: Resident $20, Non-resident $22
