Three Plainsboro Officers Honored by MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving)

On June 14th, MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) held their annual statewide award ceremony to recognize officers who have shown exemplary efforts in the fight to eliminate drunk and drugged driving in 2016.  Chief Guy Armour is proud to announce that three Plainsboro Township Police Department officers were honored this year. Honored for their efforts in 2016 were Ptl. Daniel Reichard who joined the department in July, 2011 after graduating from the Atlantic County Police Academy Alternate Route program; Ptl. Justin Kowalczyk and Ptl. William Atkinson both joined the department in March, 2015 and attended the Mercer County Police Academy. Ptl. Atkinson was department leader in DWI/DUI Enforcement in 2016. Chief Armour had high praise for all three officers adding, "Their efforts helped countless families and communities not to endure the lifelong tragedy of losing a loved one due to a drunk or drugged driver. Their efforts show the continued strong commitment of this agency to eliminate drunk and drugged driving."
