The Middlesex County Improvement Authority (MCIA) provides biweekly collection of recyclable material for Plainsboro residents. Residents are required to use the rectangular blue container with lid for newspaper and mixed paper and the round blue container for commingled recyclables (cans, bottle and plastic containers). Collection times are subject to change, but all containers must be ready for pickup by 6 a.m. The MCIA recommends writing your name and address on each container with a permanent marker.
Additional information can be obtained by calling the Middlesex County Improvement Authority (MCIA) at 800-488-6242 or by utilizing their website.
